Most of my days have hence been spent in front of this tiny machine, poking away at a complex commission, and moreso, my personal website coding.
This may not be exciting to you, but it is to me, because I've come a long way!
Coding is almost complete, and I can soon apply the code to the larger website I've also been developing for our Iron Gibbet Studios. So So very exciting. But I have nothing to show for that yet.

Still a ways to go, but knocked out for two days of work is pretty awesome.
The biggest gripe is that most of the references for the Halo armor (Spartan and Covenant) is so inconsistent between all three games. Just a gripe. As long as it works, right?
He'll be holding a flag thar, in case you're wondering.
I'm pleased. I've just come a long way and I'm allowed to be proud of that.
Anyhow, time to rest my eyes. |

Looking back on it today and thinking about it and doing more observing; I realized my colours were way too dull. The image proved muddy and unclear to the people I showed it to.
I punched up the colours by Photoshop leveling and will continue this way, making bolder colour choices.
My gut instinct colours were still a decent base to build off of, so at least that's something. |

Feeling sick. All I know is my head and throat are not happy :C
I made a 'speed paint' last night. Although after a few hours in it stopped being so 'speedy'

A very satisfying idea in my head. If you've ever played this game, you know how satisfying it can be to take one of these guys down.
(for clarity, there's a dude in the purple thing, ramming it into the giant blue thing, while firin' his lazers)
As a personal allegory I'd rather not get into; it's extremely satisfying.
( And now I talk of artsy things and personal philosophy )
Anyway. My head cold-induced ramble is over.
I am assessing (reassessing) my progress on all current commissions. The site has been updated. |
